Privacy, your data and deletion
For brokers
Claiming your profile
Register with your broker number at broker registration. We check that number against the official record, along with your email address and your phone number, and you can manage your profile from that point.
Your licence shows as expired
Renewal happens with the regulator, off-platform - we cannot renew a licence for you. The date shown here follows the official record, which is refreshed monthly, so a renewal you completed recently may not show yet. If it is still wrong after a refresh, email support@rateagent.io.
Listings
The free plan allows 5 published listings; Premium is unlimited. If you drop back to the free plan you keep every listing already live - you just cannot publish another until you are under the allowance.
Reviews about you
Reporting is for content that breaks the rules. To disagree with a review, reply to it publicly once it is approved. Every review is read by our team before it counts toward a broker's rating; until then it appears on your profile in grey, marked "Approval pending", and moves no rating, count or ranking.
Premium and billing
Plans and what each one includes are on the plans and pricing page. You can upgrade from the Billing tab of your broker settings.
Deactivating or deleting your account
Both live on the Account tab of your broker settings. Deactivating hides your profile and disables login; you can reactivate by logging in again, and no data is deleted. Deleting permanently removes your account and personal data. Your government broker record stays. Reviews about you remain (anonymized). This cannot be undone.
Locked out, suspended, or lost your authenticator
If you have lost access to your authenticator and your backup codes, contact us at support@rateagent.io and we will help you recover your account. Email the same address if your account is suspended or you cannot sign in.
